Goal Of This Course:
The goal of this course is to provide the information and abilities needed to execute first, second, and third party audits of food safety management systems (FSMS) in compliance with ISO 22000 (and ISO 22003, including ISO/IEC 17021, if appropriate).
Description of the course:
Gain the confidence to audit an FSMS effectively using globally recognised best practise procedures, or demonstrate your commitment to food safety by upgrading your existing auditor abilities to FSSC 22000. This training will enable you to update your knowledge with the most recent advances and contribute to the business's continual progress.
Over the course of five days, you'll obtain the information and skills needed to conduct and lead a successful food safety management systems audit; you'll be guided through the whole audit process, from start to finish, utilising a step-by-step methodology.

Online Lead Auditor Training from the IRCA:
All course content and exercises are combined online for online courses, discussions are held using meeting software, and at the end of the course, students receive a certificate. There will be an online final exam. As a result, the delegate may take the complete online course from the comfort of their own place.
Requirements:
ISO 22000 and the essential concepts of an FSMS should be well-understood. If you haven't already, we strongly advise you to take our ISO 22000:2018 Requirements course. If you've taken an internal or lead auditor training or have expertise doing internal or supplier audits, it will also assist.
- Putting in place or running a management system in the food industry. This includes private schemes like as BRC, GLOBALGAP, FSSC, and/or other management system-related programmes.
- Key food safety regulations (this may be particular to the food sector and location of the delegates).
- Knowledge of ISO/TS 22002-1 preparatory programmes is required.
- Depending on the section of the food chain in which the student performs, there are Good Practice guidelines for Agriculture (GAP), Veterinary (GVP), Manufacturing (GMP), Hygiene (GHP), Production (GPP), Distribution (GDP), and/or Trading (GTP).
- The Codex Alimentarius Commission has developed the HACCP principles.
- Knowledge of ISO 22000 requirements or an acceptable substitute, which may be obtained by taking an ISO 22000:2018 Requirements course.
