QUALIFI LEVEL 7 INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMA IN OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT
The Qualifi level 7 International Diploma is a reputable qualification for occupational health and safety professionals looking to advance their careers. It is accredited by European Safety Council - UK, the most reputable certification awarding body in the UK.
This qualification gives professionals a high-level technical understanding of health and safety.
Employers highly value the International Diploma. Obtaining this certification will improve your career prospects. Graduates of this level 7 International Diploma may apply for graduate membership in the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Grad IOSH). They can also move ahead to become chartered members (CMIOSH).
Its syllabuses primarily cover parts of international standards and are suitable for people working in work environments all over the world.
This International Diploma qualification focuses on practical assessments of workplace health and safety management techniques.
Unlike other courses, the Level 7 International Diploma requires competence in workplace safety and health. The following are the minimum qualifications that may be required:
- A minimum of a Level 6 qualification in an ESC course or related sector (or)
- Bachelor's in engineering degree (or)
- Master's in engineering degree (or)
- A minimum of 3 years’ managerial work experience which demonstrates current and relevant industry knowledge (or)
- NVQ Diploma Level 6 (or)
- European Safety Council’s Int Diploma in HSE endorsed by Qualifi(or)
- NEBOSH International Diploma
Additionally, it is anticipated that the candidates will embrace the requirement to recognize the integration of a culture of health and safety. Being a vocational programme, the focus on practical output over theoretical knowledge is a reality.
Through assessments, the Diploma offers 60 credit points for 4 modules.

Module 1: Management-Driven, Risk-Based Safety Management Systems
Module 2: Globalization, Sustainability, and Safety Culture Performance
Module 3: Digitalization and Incident Investigation
Module 4: Development as a Strategic Manager.

The ability to think creatively, solve problems, and apply knowledge will all be required of learners. Where appropriate, suggestions for actions will also be requested.
Learners will be required to use examples from actual organisations to illustrate their responses to the assignment questions. Ideally, mature students will also be able to draw from their own professional experience. The assessment type is to submit the finished modules to the assessor; the assessment does not result in a pass or fail; furthermore, the candidates will receive feedback from the assessor before moving on to the next assignment.
After all modules have been evaluated, this qualification will increase learners' capacity for:
- Use analytical and evaluative methods to improve those abilities.
- Look into potential problems and solutions.
- Increase their understanding of and appreciation for organizational, managerial, and environmental issues.
- Put creative uses for management techniques and procedures.
- Utilize pertinent data from a variety of sources.

- Utilize judgement and accept accountability for choices and actions.
- Improve their interpersonal, social, and other transferable skills as well as their capacity to recognize and reflect on their own learning.
The Diploma offers 600 recommended learning hours and 60 credit points.
For each module, candidates should submit their assessment responses digitally. Candidates must conduct research before responding to the assessment.
Evidence need not be provided in response to every inquiry; it may be provided only when requested.
European Safety Council - UK has granted this course Premier status in recognition of its excellent operational and training standards.
European Safety Council - UK will issue a certificate indicating that 60 credit points were earned.
An independent organization, the European Safety Council, offers accreditation services for independent, higher-level health and safety training facilities.
By selecting a high-quality institution, students can make a more informed decision thanks to European Safety Council accreditation.
The course can take up to 600 learning hours to complete over 4 modules. The E-learning platform is where this course is available. Up to 150 learning hours may be spent on each module.
In the UK, this degree is regarded as a master's degree. To land a top job, you must have this international diploma at level 7.
Direct employment in a related profession or appropriate membership level with IOSH and/or IIRSM at Graduate/Full Member grade, respectively, can be a progressive route to a Qualifi Level 7 Diploma.
The highest safety qualification entitles you to raises in pay and promotions, as well as internal memberships like Grad IOSH.
